Summit Crossing vision presented to the public 10/17/06

The Tricord Companies today presented the Summit Crossing vision for economic development, transportation solutions, and smart growth at the first of several planned public information meetings. The goals of bringing jobs home to Spotsylvania and addressing our area's most pressing transportation problems were well received by the audience of over 130 concerned citizens. Also, Germanna Community College announced their intention to explore an academic partnership with the Spotsylvania Technology Center at Summit Crossing. Representing Dr. Frank Turnage, President of Germanna, Dr. Kathy Habel said the school is excited about the opportunity to extend their high-tech offerings and provide the possibility internships with leading edge companies.

Tricord proposes economic engine for Spotsylvania County 09/15/06

Visionary Summit Crossing project will “bring jobs home” and address pressing transportation needs. The 20-year plan will attract federal agencies and corporate businesses to Spotsylvania and provide affordable workforce housing.
