The Tricord Companies is proud to announce our recent filing of Summit Crossing to the County of Spotsylvania. Summit Crossing is our plan to bring thousands of higher paying, technology-focused jobs to Spotsylvania.
The Tricord Companies presented the latest information on Summit Crossing at an Open House at the Fredericksburg Area Campus of Germanna Community College on August 2, 2007.
On Thursday, August 2, 2007, the Tricord Companies will hold a Citizen Information Open House at the Fredericksburg Area Campus of Germanna Community College where you can learn more about our Summit Crossing project.
The Tricord Companies today presented the Summit Crossing vision for economic development, transportation solutions, and smart growth at the first of several planned public information meetings. The goals of bringing jobs home to Spotsylvania and addressing our area's most pressing transportation problems were well received by the audience of over 130 concerned citizens.
Also, Germanna Community College announced their intention to explore an academic partnership with the Spotsylvania Technology Center at Summit Crossing. Representing Dr. Frank Turnage, President of Germanna, Dr. Kathy Habel said the school is excited about the opportunity to extend their high-tech offerings and provide the possibility internships with leading edge companies.
Visionary Summit Crossing project will “bring jobs home” and address pressing
transportation needs. The 20-year plan will attract federal agencies and corporate
businesses to Spotsylvania and provide affordable workforce housing. Summit
Crossing is strategically located between a new I-95 interchange and the proposed
Spotsylvania VRE station.
